What we do

We source, qualify, document and ship chemistry across five divisions — industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, performance and specialty chemicals, home, personal care and food ingredients, and water, environment and agriculture.

Most of our customers are manufacturers. They are not buying a commodity off a shelf; they are buying a grade that has to run in a process, meet a pharmacopoeial monograph, hit a shade standard or pass a food-safety audit. That is the level our sourcing is organised at.

We operate from Ahmedabad, Gujarat — at the centre of India's chemical manufacturing corridor, within reach of Mundra, Pipavav, Hazira and Nhava Sheva, and connected to the pharmaceutical clusters of Hyderabad, Vadodara and Ankleshwar.

How we are structured

Scapex operates as a manufacturer and supplier, which lets us select the right production source per product instead of forcing every enquiry through one factory. Manufacturing partners are qualified individually, on the product they actually make well.

Behind that sits an in-house export desk handling documentation, freight and compliance — so a customer deals with one team from quotation through to delivery, regardless of which plant produced the batch.
